‘Dare to be wise’
a gardenia breeds not in all hands,
not everything is said.
Wisdom is as mysterious as the rose-blue
and as rare as the middle-mist red.
Careful not to boast you’re wise,
the walls of a fool’s trap never touch.
A fool is like a hydrangea boastful, and proud,
and he hands wisdom and orange-lily, instead
of a rose.
M’ate M’asie… (What I hear, I keep)
A belladonna is like the wise,
to wisdom he gives a rose,
and so he blossoms in silence,
te sɛ anɔpa bosuo [ just like the morning dew]
